The Konga washing station located close by to Yirgacheffe, is operated by Kura. Kuru is led by Abdurahman Mahdi, whose deep commitment to quality and community has helped shape the reputation of this region. Because this coffee is grown at such high elevations ranging from 2,000 - 2,300 masl and has been cultivated by generations of local farmers, the coffee benefits from the ample rainfall, the rich volcanic soil and sustainable practices.
